Super excited to show you guys this week’s challenge!! Even
though TGY takes up a lot of my weekends from taking breaks and catching up
with my sleep from school, but this latest challenge killed two birds with one
stone because I managed to enjoy the tranquillity of Pasir Ris Estates while
taking a break from school!!
Even though I grew up in the East, I’ve never really spend
time noticing the infrastructures and superstructures of my area, and even when
I travel to Pasir Ris for chalets and family day outs all I did was to have
fun, but going down this weekend to notice the beauty of a place really struck
me for not noticing the beauty of Pasir Ris after going there for so many
times!!!
People probably know about Pasir Ris beach and it’s bicycle
kiosk and stuff, but do you know this bridge exist? It’s really quiet there,
definitely not crowded, and you can see birds in the reservoir walking around,
with water flowing gently down the stream, definitely a place you’ll want to go
to experience some serenity with your loved ones!!

At Pasir Ris, there’s places like Wild Wild Wet, D’resort
chalet that everyone knows, but
HEADS UP WILD WILD WET IS CURRENTLY UPGRADING FOR MORE RIDES
means BETTER QUALITY AND QUANTITY!!!!
There’s also a Café you won’t want to miss, it’s the 5 Drunken Rabbits located at 201 Pasir Ris Road, 519147, a place for Family Gathering or just to spend quality time with people you love!!
I don’t have images of it because I’m speaking from the experience I had there months ago with my family, but it’s definitely a place I would recommend you to try out!!
They also cater to event like High Tea, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties or Product Launch so do check them out!!

East is also another place you should definitely try to come, with a Cinema, the largest water theme park in Singapore, great food, and a
resort, it’s really a place you should take time off to go with your family and
friends!!!
Imagine spending your Saturday mornings taking
walks with your loved ones at the park, enjoying the scenery of the beach and
the quietness of the area!!
Pasir Ris also has Pasir Ris Park Mangrove Boardwalk which I’ve yet to try, I’ll write my
experience about the place the next time I head there after my finals alright!!
The usual places that I always visit when I go to Pasir
Ris would be White Sands which I went today as well but was too crowded to take
any picture. After renovation the mall has Starbucks, Cotton On, Subway, Sakae
Sushi, Popular, Value Dollar Shop, and many of food chains located on the outer
side of the mall selling beautiful donuts, fried chicken, pizza etc!! I don’t
have images to show you because it’s really crowded there today, but the
experience I had there really sums up to me encouraging you to go down to spend
a day there with you family / friends!! Its going to be a quality time spend
with your family, and at the same time getting the things you want!!
There’s so much more about Pasir Ris that I’ve yet to
say, but I definitely had fun exploring Pasir Ris and it’s definitely a place
that’s way too under-noticed! It’s a place full of things at a corner of an
island, so spend your next mini-break at Pasir Ris!!

Being under the sun for Co-curriculum activities definitely worsen my skin condition as much as I would like to deny it doesn’t!!

Wellz it’s a last minute request and most of them are having their finals (with Joe having his SNG2k16 competition – he did win btw!) soon so they couldn’t make it! This is a rather rushed post, so please bear with me.
In case you guys have not realized as well my YouTube channel is up as promised!
So Clara, Aries and I finally met up together after so long and I was so excited to meet them??!?!?!??! Most of the time we either skype or just send a text to ask each other how our days are going, but we seldom get any chance to go out and spend time together because our school is kind of far away – literally two ends of the island - and our schooling hours are rather different!!
TGY2016’s challenge 2 is for me to describe how a clique spends a typical day at 313@somerset, so we had to spend our afternoon there with Sean (my all-time best camera friend) semi-filming my vlog!!
As usual, we went to the Food Republic for lunch because the Thai Cuisine there is seriously one of the nicest I’ve been to in town because the chefs are really from Thailand – where can you find real Thailand cuisine at such a price????
After lunch we headed straight to O'ma Spoon because I’m a part time student but full time dessert girl.

After O’ma Spoon we went to shop for more triplet outfits at The Editor’s Market, and we found the bomber jacket that I’ve been hunting for the longest time, in Clara’s favourite shade of colour – dusty pink!!!!
But I was rather lazy (at my natural state), and they had to drag me in but as usual I don’t regret stepping out of my comfort zone to shop for beautiful clothes yay!!

The Editor’s Market sells a variety of clothes with a minimalistic outlook that pleases my eyes so I’ve always been very fond of their apparels! We tried out the bomber jacket together and I also tried on this boyfriend button down dress that I really liked!! The prices in The Editor’s Market are pretty friendly, and even friendlier if you buy multiple pieces when shopping with your friends! It’s been super long since I’ve ever taken photos in a fitting room because I’m so lazy to shop outside, but going out with my best friends certainly encourages me to become more girly and to put in more effort to my closet HAHA.
We also went to Forever 21, IRUN, L.E Ball Park, Goal@313 to do some casual shopping for our shoes and skirts, but I didn’t get any because they were either not available or non-photo-taking zones ☹ but I tried my best to get some images for you guys!
Of course we needed an official heart to heart talk session and the best place would probably be the SKY TERRACE at 313@somerset!!
In case you were wondering why we’re all on our phones, we were updating the rest of the clique about our day, and one of our girl Xin Yuan is currently studying in Aussie, and all of us happening to be snapchatting her when this was taken!!
